Acrylic painting commissions of pets of all shapes and size

I offer hand painted pet portraits of the furry friends still with us, as well as those who have crossed over the rainbow bridge.   I understand what a huge impact our pets can have on our lives. A pet portrait is a perfect way to honour them.

I work from photographs and will talk through the process with prospective clients. It may take a selection of photos to establish the right pose, colouring, lighting and composition. Lead times can be discussed, be it for a present for a particular date or indeed, something that you are treating yourself to.

About Amy O'Malley

I am back doing what I love with a paintbrush in hand after a creative retirement (ie. raising 3 children!). We are all absolute dog obsessives in our home. I thoroughly enjoy watching the personalities of the animals I paint appear on the canvas over the many hours that I put into the paintings. The feedback from clients has been so positive.

My background is in fashion and costume design and have diversified into interiors too in recent years. I always go back to painting as it has been one of my first loves even winning Texaco art competition as a teenager many years ago.
